Our client is a dynamic International organisation who are seeking additional temporary support in their purchasing department

The role will be key in supporting the Purchasing function to operate day to day and will include the below type of activity.

Ideal candidate

  • Experienced administrator used to a busy and fast paced environment
  • Ideally from a manufacturing background
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Be diligent, methodical and conscientious

The Role

  • General Administration Tasks
  • Receive and file Certificates of Analysis
  • Receive and share MSDS
  • Order Acknowledgements Received from suppliers via email
  • Amend PO adding the Order track Number Add acknowledgement data to Tracker
  • Invoicing
  • Received from suppliers via email
  • Print off batches of received invoices for checking
  • Sign and send to Accounts

Additional information

  • Tracking orders in the system
  • This is a manual (paper) based and IT system which can be quite clunky. They are moving over to an ERP system in November which will reduce the admin heavy processes
  • This role is to support the purchasing department to enable them to stay on track with their purchasing activity
  • Must be very organised and able to work on their own initiative but also take direction

Hours – 9am -5.15pm Monday – Thursday

9am – 2.45pm Friday

45 minutes lunch

A 35 hour week
