Our Client is a professional and dynamic organisation who are seeking a Customer Technical Support Analyst to offer 1st & 2nd Line Support to their customers

You will be joining a small, friendly team who are critical to the smooth running of the business

Based within the Customer Service Department you will be reporting to the Team Leader

Overall Function

  • The Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for providing remote technical support services to Customers
  • Responsibilities to include 1st & 2nd line telephone based customer support for deployed solutions
  • Remote installation of customer solutions
  • Installation qualification & data collection
  • Incident investigation & resolution
  • Onsite customer solution support
  • System testing & enhancement
  • In house support
  • Liaising with solution developers for 3rd line support
  • Excellent customer facing attitude & communication skills
  • Technical Windows Server knowledge & experience
  • Technical Windows Desktop knowledge & experience
  • Knowledge & understanding of key network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS etc.)
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Desire to work & develop in a customer facing support role
  • Advanced understanding of network technologies (Sub-nets, Routing, SNMP, https etc.)
  • Advanced understanding of internet appliances (Firewalls, web proxies, IIS etc.)
  • Understanding of SQL Server
  • Ability to prioritise & schedule own work
  • Good written documentation skills
  • Advanced investigative & problem solving skills
  • Driving License required
