Our client is a busy and expanding organisation who are seeking a Senior Merchandiser and Stock Planner to join their successful team

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected supplier to the retail sector during a period of growth.  Your role will involve merchandising of product for one of their major customers and will work closely with the sales team

Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan, control and manage stock levels of a designated design portfolio, to meet the stock requirements of the business, whilst maximising sales
  • Analyse sales performance against estimates and suggest corrective action where required
  • Issue resolution with internal stakeholders in sales, design and warehouse
  • Liaise regularly with external merchandisers to keep assumptions up to date and solve any issues which require collaboration

Experience/Skills

Essential

  • Microsoft excel skills and relevant experience
  • Strong personality and an enthusiastic team player

Desirable

  • Experience in an import, warehousing or relevant wholesale environment
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • Knowledge of textile production methods
