Sales Product Specialist within medical and dental industry, territory management, customer account management as well as clinical and educational product support. Sales/Account management experience from dental/medical industry essential. Covering London and South East. Salary £40-44k plus commission and car allowance

Our client is looking for recruit a Sales Product Specialist covering London and South East. This is a customer facing role managing a territory and a number of customers and accounts, whilst providing the appropriate level of clinical and educational support to the therapy area and associated products.

Working for the market leader in the provision of biomaterials, which support the application of dental implants reporting to the National Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities & Duties for the position of Sales Product Specialist:

  • Generation of agreed sales targets
  • Delivery of agreed relevant customer based activity
  • Development of strong relationships with key customers
  • Effective input into the company CRM system
  • Creation of territory business plans
  • Analysis of performance metrics and creation of effective tactical solutions
  • Delivery of high standards of customer service
  • Provision of all internal reporting processes and procedures and adherence of company SOPs
  • Organise or support educational events

Essential Training & Education required for the position of Sales Product Specialist:

  • Degree (preferably life sciences)
  • Relevant dental / nursing / medical / technical experience
  • 3 years successful sales experience within technical / medical / dental arena
  • Ideally will have worked within the dental / implantology field

Personal skills required for the position of Sales Product Specialist:

  • The ideal candidate will make a very strong first impression, of being incredibly professional and confident, but also engaging through the use of very strong interpersonal skills, and also their appearance, quickly building comfortable rapport. With experience in health care / medical device sales – ideally from a dental or dental implant background.
  • Can demonstrate active listening skills, answering questions succinctly with the correct and most pertinent answers, whilst also seeking clarity and using their own questioning skills to uncover relevant information. Able to make their points in a compelling and articulate manner, using appropriate evidence or anecdotes
  • Able to demonstrate a successful career history, showing progression and success to date. Will be a strong performer within their organisations delivering outstanding performances through the application of sound business skills. Showing a genuine work ethic constantly going above and beyond the standard call of duty and taking full accountability for the delivery of all aspects of their roles.
  • Be able to fully demonstrate the skills listed on their CV’s to a high level, especially around planning, analysis and most importantly a real desire for success and self-drive.
  • Will be able to demonstrate a genuine curiosity in all areas, with them wanting to know the answers, and the skills to find this information no matter how challenging.
