Our client is looking to recruit a Reception Administrator to work in their Corporate Finance department in Manchester working alongside a PA to the Partners.You’ll be the first point of contact in providing visitors and clients with an excellent service and arranging hospitality for clients as well as assisting colleagues by providing administrative support. You’ll be well organised, efficient and have a flexible approach to work.

Key Responsibilities for the position of Reception Administrator:


  • Meeting and greeting all clients, suppliers and visitors in a friendly, efficient and professional manner
  • Booking meeting rooms and updating Skyvisitor
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls, taking messages where appropriate
  • Management of meeting room bookings
  • Preparation and clearance of meeting rooms for client meetings
  • Providing refreshments and arranging lunches for client meetings
  • Management of office post, including deliveries (scanning, franking, logging etc)
  • Liaising with Buildings Management and Reception / first point of contact
  • Organising repairs/maintenance in conjunction with Property Partner
  • Ordering stationery/IT equipment/supplies
  • Petty cash
  • Ensuring high standards are maintained in the office


  • Providing administrative support for the team in Manchester
  • Typing of letters and reports using Microsoft Word
  • Onboarding process including money laundering checks
  • Sending documents via Docusign for signature
  • Setting up new companies as requested
  • Typing of letters, emails and reports
  • Preparing and formatting proposals and engagement letters
  • Photocopying, filing, archiving and scanning as required

Ideal candidate for the position of Receptionist Administrator

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages in particular Word and Outlook
  • Excellent administration skills
