Our client is a leading skin care beauty clinic based in Altrincham, looking for a Part Time Receptionist/Clinical Assistant to work alongside their in house Doctor, offering exceptional customer service and support to patients, treatment support to the Doctor as well as general administrative duties

A key criteria to this position is to have a cheerful, welcoming and customer focused personality, someone who quickly builds rapport and makes clients feel relaxed and confident

This role is for 2 days a week; Monday and Wednesday, 8am-5pm, but must be able to work fulltime to cover holidays and have the flexibility to cover for sickness. The ability to cover fulltime is ESSENTIAL and in the initial training stages it will be necessary to go in a day or so extra, paid, to consolidate your training

The Role and Responsibilities for the position of Part Time Receptionist/Clinical Assistant:

  • The first part of the role is essentially to act as a second pair of hands for their in-house doctor, before, during, and after patient consultations (in much the same way a dental nurse assists and supports a dentist)
  • Taking notes during consultations (using an online computerised system)
  • Preparing the room and equipment prior to consultations
  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Offering assistance during procedures
  • Taking patient photographs
  • Clearing away equipment at the end of an appointment
  • meeting and greeting patients
  • Dealing with patient queries, including advising patients on products and procedures
  • Making appointments
  • Responding to enquiries, by telephone or email
  • Taking payments
  • general administration (including some typing)
  • General housekeeping as required

The successful candidate will need:

  • Have excellent IT and typing skills
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, and an ability to focus and filter the details of the consultations, to ensure that all relevant/significant points are recorded in the patient’s notes
  • Common sense is a must, but no previous experience is required as full training is offered in the clinical part of the role
  • Essential you are able to quickly understand the business’s services and products, be capable of learning new IT systems
  • Must have excellent rapport building skills and be able to multi-task.

Excellent salary plus package including discretionary performance related bonus andIncrementally increasing holiday allowance, starting at 4 weeks pa (pro-rata), company pension contributions at 5% of gross earnings
