Our client is looking to recruit to fulfil a maternity contract within the payroll department; 24 hours a week, flexible on days and hours to be worked

Working closely with the Payroll Officer, to assist with the running a number of in house payrolls, ensuring accuracy and diligence in inputting payroll data

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payroll procedures are completed accurately and to time-scale, weekly and monthly
  • Administration of Company Benefits including Pensions, Healthcare, childcare vouchers, salary sacrifice and Give as You Earn Schemes
  • Liaise with management and staff re basic payroll queries, bonuses, commissions and overtime payments
  • Liaise with HR officer re payroll adjustments, starters, leavers, sickness,, maternity/paternity
  • Update payroll systems, HR records and employee information
  • Overseas payroll, full training given, for overseas staff

Requirements for the Role:

  • Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
  • Intermediate level Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Payroll knowledge
  • PAYE and current legislation awareness
  • People HR and STAR payroll would be ideal
