Job Description

This is a new position within a owner managed business that is looking for additional support within the office, ideally to start on a temporary or contract basis prior to becoming a permanent position

Working in a busy small friendly team environment the right personality fit is essential and would suit an experienced administrator who is happy to become in any and all aspects of the business to support the Directors to ensure the smooth running of their company

The role is varied and challenging and requires someone who can work independently, is comfortable and capable of making decisions and ” holding the fort” in the absence of the Directors

Role and Responsibilities:

  • General office administration
  • Handling incoming customer calls, emails and other queries, dealing with all in a professional manner
  • Monitoring of and reporting on ongoing projects being undertaken by the business
  • Diary management
  • Understand and respond to customer needs to ensure highest levels of customer service
  • Liaise with teams, both on and off site, to ensure deadlines are met
  • Management Information and maintenance of records accurately
  • Maintain work systems and reports
  • Handle complaints and identify solutions

Skills required for the Role:

  • Strong administration experience
  • Any bookkeeping skills would be ideal but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills, MS Office
  • Strong prioritisation, organisational skills with a proactive approach
  • Data entry and analysis of information skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • To work independently and as part of a team
  • Multi task and work to deadlines
  • Problem solving skills
  • Any marketing/social media knowledge would be ideal

Hours 9am-5pm
