Our client is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager who will build on and enhance their reputation for offering great customer service and very high technical capability, This is an ideal opportunity for a Marketing Manager who is keen to make an impact.

With year on year growth and for exciting future plans, the Marketing Manager will have the ability to make a real difference in transforming their Marketing Division, involved in all aspects of the business and building on brands , you will have the freedom to make the business stand out in a highly competitive sector using creative thinking alongside traditional and digital marketing techniques.

Reporting to Directors at Board level, working closely with key stakeholders, the ideal candidate must be eager to succeed, self-sufficient and able to identify aspects of the business where change is needed.

Role and Responsibilities for the position of Marketing Manager:

  • Devise and deliver all aspects of marketing strategy and control budget
  • Manage the advertising programme, working closely with the Graphic Designer to produce adverts across print and digital
  • Manage company websites and CMS systems, regularly creating and updating new content
  • Manage the Corporate and Social Responsibility strategy and sponsorship programme
  • Confidently write all content within the company which could include: sales emails, e- newsletters, marketing brochures, blogsetc
  • Assist in the management, design and operations of industry trade shows
  • Plan and execute delivery of a new digital footprint including monitoring and improving SEO, email marketing etc
  • Assist retail managers with client journey and all consumer facing comms, including retail posters, retail promotions, etc
  • Continually look for additional opportunities to drive interest, either through new marketing channels or identify new customer segments.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant organisations
  • Manage and grow social channels
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Graphic Designer on the development of new marketing material
  • Build and maintain a close working relationship with key stakeholders in the business

Experience required for the role of Marketing Manager:

  • You will need to have strong previous experience of responsibility for the full marketing mix, in a comparable organisation
  • Spent time in marketing positions where you worked on both B2B & B2C activity
  • Experience within in a growing SME or a similar environment
  • Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critically aware of both inbound and outbound marketing tools
  • The ability to think creatively and logically
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Working knowledge of how to analyse and report on digital and print media
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in PR
  • Knowledge of design principles and experience in briefing Graphic Designers
  • Experience in marketing for lead-generation
  • Some experience in complex business environment, telecoms, or business communications would be an advantage
  • You will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or recognized professional qualification
