Our client is looking to recruit a Lease Administrator to provide end to end administration and support to the processing of new lease agreements through to the management of terminated agreements. Acting as point of contact between the sales team and the external brokers in creating lease agreements

The successful applicant must have strong numeracy skills and have excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of asset finance and/or lease contracts would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Role and Responsibilities for the position of Lease Administrator:

New Lease Agreements:

  • Provide details of existing agreements by customer as requested by sales team
  • Process sales team’s requests for credit approval decisions with the panel of approved funders / vendor finance partners
  • Provide support to sales team as necessary regarding the structure of lease agreements, ensuring that the proposals meet the criteria set out by the funders /Vendor finance partners
  • Process all completed lease documents in line with company SLAs
  • Liaise with funders to ensure that queries are resolved and liaise with sales team to ensure that any additional documents required by the funders are provided
  • Liaise with other areas of the business (Ordering, Sales Support, Logistics, Purchase ledger, Credit Control, Senior Management) as necessary
  • Work closely with Head Office to ensure accurate invoicing of deals and ensure deals are paid by funders
  • Provide updates on agreements in progress where necessary, highlighting any outstanding issues for resolution

End of Lease Administration:

  • Obtain settlement figures and ensure settlement invoices are paid on time
  • Work with sales team to manage end of lease process with a view to retaining business
  • Return equipment to funder – decision making process

General Duties

  • Administration of Contract Management System relating to lease and other agreements
  • Dealing with all queries from funders, other departments and external customers via e-mail and telephone
  • Maintaining accurate record keeping of deals at all stages of the leasing process
  • Using Excel to carry out customer lease data reconciliations as required
  • Working closely with in house funder/partner to ensure smooth processing of lease deals

Skills and experience required for the position of Lease Administrator

  • Experience working in a Finance related position is desirable but not mandatory
  • Easily recognises process deficiencies and implements effective solutions
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management
