Our client, a leading manufacturer of textile products sold into major High Street Retalers as well as having an excellent online presence, is looking to recruit a Key Account Manager for one of their major customers.

Working as part of a team, your role will to ensure exceptional service levels, relationship management and contributing to support and grow the account. You will contribute to both maintaining and improving profitability and establishing long-term relationships, to achieve business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities for the role of Key Account Manager:

  • Understand customer requirements
  • Develop product ranges with buyers in conjunction with in-house design team;
  • Ensure accurate and timely replies to customer queries and requests;
  • Build strong relationships with the customer and manage key stakeholders effectively through regular meetings and communication;
  • Clearly communicate product and pricing details and ensure commercial targets are met;
  • Communicate customer feedback to the team on costing improvements;
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure product specifications are met and support internal processes for launch of new products;
  • Support internal and customer critical path maintenance to achieve ‘on time in full’ deliveries to customers;
  • Develop an understanding of product ranges including benchmarking and competitor analysis;
  • Undertake gap analysis and identify opportunities to introduce new products, including promotional opportunities;
  • Complete administrative tasks in support of the requirements of the customer/stakeholders.

  • The ability to organise and prioritise effectively in order to manage your time and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with textile products
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Advanced use of Excel
  • Professional manner with good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effect
