Our client is looking to recruit a Key Account Administrator to support Key Account Managers in the administration of customers orders and to ensure the highest levels of customer service

Role and Responsibilities for the position of Key Account Administrator

  • Work closely with Key Account Managers and customer to manage daily activity for dedicated key account orders, including order input, communicating stock shortages and advising of delivery dates and delays
  • In conjunction with the daily account activity, own the Account Plan and other planning materials, and ensure they are regularly reviewed against established milestones and targets
  • Ensure that agreed quality assurance and customer satisfaction procedures are fully implemented and monitored
  • Understands the key accounts’ strategy, issues, culture, challenges considering the impact on account management
  • Processing orders with the warehouse to ensure delivery dates are met.
  • Completion of customer product matrix & ordering of accessories, hangers, labels for processing
  • Proactively manage the customers seasonal order book, both current and forward seasons
  • Manage stock, work closely with the imports team on new season stock availability and seasonal promotions
  • Monthly analysis & management of customer take up of forward orders
  • Build great relationships with key areas of the business such as Buying, Marketing and Product
  • Update all client files regarding their requirements for processing orders, pricing etc
  • Maintain seasonal price lists & ensure all price changes in season are updated & recorded
  • Arranging barcodes & link codes for new styles each season to be sent to customers
  • Attend customer meetings either in-house or off site at customer’s premises.

Experience required for the position of Key Account Administrator

  • Strong computer skills including ,Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel (min requirement intermediate level)
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Any knowledge of and experience in using customer portals would be an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to quickly and easily create/ gather/ manipulate/ analyse data from a variety of sources
  • Able to demonstrate excellent customer service experience , ideally working on key accounts
  • Ideally with an understanding of logistics function gained from experience of working with them in a previous customer service role
  • Strong work ethic & positive ‘cando’ attitude
  • Able to forge excellent working relationships with customers, sales force and colleagues
