Our client is an importer, manufacturer and supplier they predominantly supply to distributors and a small handful of large end-users who now have a strategy to sell directly to more end-users – from SMEs to large organisations.

They have installed an excellent sales & marketing function / capability into the business to do this and there is now a great opportunity for a person to join our team in the following role…

This role would be to make outbound calls contacting high quality prospects, generated from the marketing function, qualify them and push them along the sales funnel towards a sale.  You will also support the business in nurturing and retaining new direct end-user customers – checking-in on how they are finding the service, when they expect to be requiring goods and winning repeat sales.

The position would be full time and permanent. They are happy for the person to work remotely but they may be required to meet at the office every couple of weeks to check-in on how they’re getting on and how they can be helped.  The successful candidate will be warm, positive and friendly – a person who genuinely enjoys helping people and developing great relationships. Coupled with a high level of persuasiveness, determination and resilience – qualities required to be successful selling in the market.

In regards to career progression, they are planning on scaling up this new sales and marketing function fast and if you were to show managerial qualities, then they would like to promote the person from within and into a managerial role as you grow.

Their aim is to provide you with all the help and support required to focus on developing personal relationships with the new clients so, you will be provided with an initial training programme and be given excellent ongoing training and support (via the online sales help and knowledge centre)

The successful candidate will be given manageable tasks on a weekly basis using their Hub spot customer relationship management system – enabling them be highly effective and also help make the role enjoyable and rewarding.
