Our client is looking for an Insurance Administrator to join a growing team where you will be working alongside the Insurance Department Manager and will be the first point of contact for insurance customers.

£22,000 – £23,000, 35 hours a week, no evenings or weekends, 25 days holiday + your birthday off, private medical care.  Easily accessible via public transport

 

Day to day tasks will vary dependent on the daily needs of the business but general tasks include:

  • Answering and directing enquiries over the phone and email – liaising between the insurers, brokers and customers
  • Onboarding calls to build that initial relationship with the client, set the tone, explain everything, handle questions, and advise the new client on what to expect
  • Liaising with key stakeholders in order to ensure connectivity targets are met, this will include others team within the business as well as other external companies
  • Outbound calls to existing customers regarding installation of devices as per their insurance policy
  • Problem solving clients that are experiencing issues with their devices usage
  • General Administrative duties (data input, updating our CRM system & helpdesk tickets)

The person:

  • A solid work ethic, hard-working, organised, great attention to detail, friendly with a desire to progress within the business
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Prior experience of using Microsoft Operating systems and products (Outlook, Teams, Excel etc)
  • An ability to interpret technical information and deliver this in a customer-friendly format
  • Ability to work alone or alongside other team members within an office environment
  • Willingness to learn other duties in case you have to cover for other positions

Any experience across the Insurance or Financial Services industries would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
