Job Description

Our client is a market leading organisation who are seeking an additional member for their IT team

The Role

You will help solve queries and provide internal support to over 100 users within our client’s Altrincham Office. You will be key in maintaining the lines of communication between the IT department and all other departments within the organisation as well as assisting in IT activities through their in-house ticketing system.

This role also offers the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in Microsoft technologies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and action queries via in-house ticketing system
  • Maintain lines of communication between the IT department and all areas of the business
  • Assist with systems to set up new users and create accounts
  • Assist in the installation, upgrading and maintenance of desktop and voice infrastructures
  • Carry out desktop roll-out and replacements when needed
  • Assist with software/hardware upgrades
  • Assist with Portable Appliance Testing
  • Housekeeping / Move PC’s

Essential:

  • Experience of using Windows 7
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office and other desktop packages
  • Email & web browser troubleshooting
  • PC hardware, set up and configuration
  • Can do attitude

Desirable:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2016
  • DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP addressing and computer networks
  • Office 365
  • IP Phones
  • Firewalls
