Our Client is an award winning Digital Design Agency with an impressive client base of both Blue Chips and SMEs, going from strength to strength and is a wonderful opportunity to work in a vibrant and highly creative environment

They are currently looking to recruit a Head of Client Services to cover for a maternity contract, and they are happy to consider Full or Part Time , but if part time would need to be able to work Monday’s in order to be a part of their weekly meeting. Other days and hours to suit.

The ideal candidate will have come from website background EITHER from an design agency OR from a company where they have managed website dealing with 3rd party agencies, with an understanding of functionality , issuing briefs etc

Overview of the role of Head of Client Services:

Responsible for speaking to new and existing clients to take briefs regarding their websites such as what they are trying to achieve from their website, its key functions, branding etc and then passing this to the developers for them to create a technical proposal and presenting of this to the client

Once the website has been built support testing to ensure all functions as expected

Responsible for ” post live” support, assisting where possible or passing through to developers for technical support resolution and following through to completion, keeping the client updated on situation

Then they do testing which is in effect to see if the website works and can be broken

Account Management of clients who have retained work on their sites, liaising with them to identify requirements and then scheduling work through the development team, managing studio time, creating work calendars etc

Role and Responsibilities for the position of Head of Client Services:

  • you will be a senior member of the client services team reporting to the board of directors
  • Oversee all account handlers/junior team members/active clients
  • Work closely with directors to oversee flow of work through studio
  • Maintain regular client contact to preserve long lasting relationships resulting in regular ongoing work
  • Meeting and liaising with existing/new clients to discuss and identify their requirements
  • Working with agency colleagues to devise campaign plans that meet the client’s brief and budget
  • Work with third parties
  • Presenting campaign ideas and creative work
  • Complete research for new business meetings and pitch / proposal writing
  • Track team hours against project budget
  • Take responsibility for ensuring every piece of work that leaves the agency is 100% accurate and signed off
  • Testing websites
  • Copy checking / proof reading
  • Be aware of technical support queries/issues raised by clients
  • Maintain internal systems – Tsheets, Trello, Basecamp
  • Conduct client training on websites, CMS, Mailbe
  • Keep client folders up-to-date
  • Signing off all client artwork – including managing internal approval
  • Manage all internal projects
  • Answering the telephone.
