Our Client is as award winning design agency who are seeking a Head of client services on a maternity cover contract starting January 2022

Job description:

Heading up the client services department, taking responsibility for, and mentoring, more junior members of the team.

Your responsibilities span the full client lifecycle from initial engagement, briefing, proposal and spec writing to execution, testing, post live support and ongoing nurturing of the client relationship. Further to this, you are pivotal in assisting the smooth running of the studio, carefully scheduling, prioritising and making strategic decisions regarding the best ways to organise a busy agency, while managing client expectations.

Main Responsibilities

•Senior member of the client services team reporting to the board of directors

•Oversee all account handlers/junior team members/active clients

•Work closely with directors to oversee flow of work through studio

•Identify opportunities to upsell to clients

•Maintain regular client contact to preserve long lasting relationships resulting in regular ongoing work

•Meeting and liaising with existing/new clients to discuss and identify their requirements

•Working with agency colleagues to devise campaign plans that meet the client’s brief and budget

•Work with third parties

•Presenting campaign ideas and creative work

•Complete research for new business meetings and pitch / proposal writing

•Track team hours against project budget

•Take responsibility for ensuring every piece of work that leaves the agency is 100% accurate and signed off

•Testing websites

•Copy checking / proof reading

•Be aware of technical support queries/issues raised by clients

•Conduct client training on websites, CMS, Mailbe.

Admin Responsibilities

•Keep client folders up-to-date

•Signing off all client artwork – including managing internal approval

•Manage all internal projects

•Answering the telephone
