Our client is an established financial services business that supports clients in obtaining Tax Refunds from HMRC and as a result of expansion is looking to recruit a Graduate calibre (or equivalent)Financial Analyst to join them on a full-time basis to support the team with the production of technical reports and the calculation of financial information aiding the submission of tax claims.

Role, Skills and Responsibilities for the position of Financial Analyst:

  • Genuine commitment and passion to develop in a growing industry, with the aim of helping SME’s and large clients to successfully claim potential tax refund/credits;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • To be a capable user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • A co-operative and flexible approach to working with others to meet agreed objectives and deadlines;
  • Proven self-management skills enabling the role holder to set and manage their own priorities;
  • Exposure to an accounting/finance environment would advantageous, however this role will enable you to work independently and learn and develop new skills through full training;
  • Have excellent communication skills as you will be supporting and working closely with clients and their accountants;
  • Be highly organised, ambitious with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn;
  • Liaise with the clients and/or their accountants to obtain information required to prepare tax summaries;
  • Producing summary reports and presentations for clients;
  • To be able to be flexible as part of the close team . This may mean assisting colleagues from time to time in support of the efficient operation of the business

Starting Salary: £20k plus bonuses which rises to £24k following completion of training and probation period
