Overview of the position of Customer Service Coordinator:

Reporting to the Head of Service Department the purpose of the role will be coordinate all service level agreements to ensure that they are all completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customers.

Role and Responsibilities for the position of Customer Service Coordinator 

  • Acting as Single Point of Contact for the coordination of all Service Level Agreement (SLA) customers
  • Establishing relevant processes to efficiently fulfil service level agreements across all business units in consultation with Service Level Agreement Manager, including kick-off meetings and creation of individual customer SLA plan for onward processing
  • Ensuring all relevant planned jobs are scheduled according to customer and machine requirements in line with preventative maintenance strategy
  • Taking care of all administration functions for SLAs, within their SAP and Connect systems, including correct contract set-up, billing plan, technical equipment attachment, invoicing
  • Liaising with the Health & Safety Manager, for the compilation and issuing of risk assessments, method statements, PPE, etc.
  • Responding quickly and professionally to customer enquiries
  • Following-up progress of open new SLA proposals and renewals
  • Supporting SLA Manager with creation and maintenance of checklists and corresponding parts lists for contract visits

Qualifications Required for the position of Customer Service Coordinator

  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years previous experience of managing service level agreements with multiple customers, from different markets
  • Financial and commercial training, and a good understanding of contract terms and conditions and their application would be ideal.

Ideal Experience for the position of Customer Service Coordinator

  • Ability to understand the customers’ business, pain points and needs, and the be able to use the business’ solutions through value added service offerings at a practical level
  • Experience of coordinating technical projects and knowledge of ERP processes would be a distinct advantage
