Our client is looking for a Customer Service Advisor on a Fixed Term 6 month contract, immediate start, to support their Customer Service Team

Role and Responsibilities for the position of Customer Service Advisor:

  • Sales and Customer support for spare part products
  • Providing quotations, order processing and invoicing customers
  • Handling of all Import/Export logistics administration
  • Monitoring and chasing outstanding deliveries and updating customers
  • Provide administration support to the Sales Team such as pricing and stock information
  • Purchasing support on SAP
  • Supporting the technical department in updating of parts lists
  • To answer the telephone, taking telephone messages for colleagues who are out of the office

Ideal Candidate for the position of Customer Service Advisor:

  • 2+ years previous experience in a similar sales support role or customer facing role
  • Commercially competent, understanding of terms and conditions, pricing etc
  • Experience of working in an office environment handling customer contracts relating to engineering or technical machinery.
  • Experience of working with import/export activities relating to Incoterms, Shipment of Goods outside of, and into UK, ensuring full compliance with regulations would be ideal
  • Previous experience with SAP would be ideal
