Our client is looking to recruit a Customer Business Analyst to strenghten and support the Customer Relationship Team where exceeding customer expectations is the norm and where the customers is at the heart of what they do. This role is to analysis the service levels, processes etc and ensure that they are offering the best possible service, and where improvements need to be made

Overview of the role of Customer Business Analyst

The ideal MI analyst will have a strong analytical background with excellent Excel skills that may include macros or SQL. You will have a broad breadth of experience and the ability to create new reports whilst updating and improving existing techniques in a fast paced customer focused environment

This MI analyst role sits within the CRM team and provides essential management information to a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role involves Management Information reporting, production of KPI`s and supporting material for client meetings and presentation and analysis of information to individuals of all levels internally and externally.

Though the use of data from various software packages the MI analyst will identify trend/issues/cost savings or areas with potential to change end user behaviour which should be supported by effective MI, analysis and presentation to influence key decision makers. The Customer Business Analyst should also be able to analyse spend and savings from a baseline.

Role and Responsibilties of the Customer Business Analyst:

  • Recurring KPI and report production
  • Automation of reporting
  • Preparation of presentations (mainly in MS PowerPoint)
  • Ad hoc Management Information
  • Work in conjunction with the Account Management Team on utilisation and optimisation projects and recommendations
  • Assist in business projects by responding to data requests
  • Analysis of data and produce bespoke reports within short timescales
  • Evaluate baseline data for consistency and accuracy, making recommendations for cost savings and identifying trending
  • Review and constructively challenging the department’s processes to drive continuous improvement
  • Working with and analysing technical data, including dealing with complex queries, presenting information to clients and internally

Essential experience and skills:

  • Advanced user of Excel, macros, pivot tables & v-look ups
  • Analytical with a methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience of analysing large datasets and interpreting results
  • Knowledge of data visualisation techniques and the ability to tailor these to different audiences
  • Ability to demonstrate contributing strategically to the direction of the business and/or it`s components
  • Excellent communication at various levels within a similar large scale organisation
  • Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint skills to an advanced standard
