Our client, who sell technology products to education sector, are looking for an experienced proactive and driven Business Development Executive

This is a new division within a highly successful IT Company so there is exceptional potential to develop a career that is both financially and personally satisfying.

The ideal candidate will be “hungry” to earn and succeed; ideally would suit an IT graduate who has some experience of Business Development within a similar environment

As Business Development Executive you will have first class communication skills, be able to build beneficial business relationships over the telephone, be proactive and be able to think outside the box when it comes to identifying new potential markets etc

PURPOSE OF THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE:

Proactively promote and sell Technology products into the Education, Reseller and IT Rental Market. You will be the first point of contact for customers portraying a professional and confident manner that delivers excellent customer satisfaction. To build a strong customer base and develop new sales opportunities to achieve sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE:

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin target
  • Build Excellent customer relationships through proactive engagement
  • Plan outbound calls to customers to generate new business opportunities
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations to customer
  • Generate and own a pipeline of deals in the CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and update
  • Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
  • Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information
  • Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions
  • Ensure Company maintains service levels agreements with customer
  • Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as daily talk time and outbound call
  • Sell the benefits of using the Company and the Company value proposition
  • Develop and execute account plans to maintain and grow customer business, this may be in conjunction with a Field Sales Executive or Business Development Manager.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

  • Numerate with good attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Priority management and planning skills
  • Strive to achieve set targets
  • Understands Sales Process
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Good relationship building
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM

Excellent Salary plus OTE in 1st Year of £35k but uncapped
