Our client is looking for an Account Administrator will take control of the day to day administrative, finance, after sales and sales support for a group customers.  You will be the administrative “one-point contact” person for all aspects of this client.

This role will ensure H&S, client and financial commitments are met and exceeded. The role will be office based for most of the time but there will be opportunities to visit the client at their various locations across the UK with the account sales manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Health and Safety and Quality Management:

Creates a culture of exceptional H&S standards. Monitors and identifies areas for improvement as a matter of course

Identifies and acts on safety trends and reports to create interventions to protect the business, our people and drive continuous safety improvement

Identifies and acts on quality issue trends and reports all issues immediately to the QHSE department to drive continuous improvement in quality

 

Client Management:

Developing a solid and trusting relationship between this major client and the company

Resolving client issues and complaints

Developing a complete understanding of the account needs

Anticipating account changes and improvements

Visits to head offices and stores under their control to meet face to face with their peers within these accounts and also attend furniture exhibitions

Managing communications between this client and internal teams

Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines

Analysing client data to provide customer relationship management

Expanding relationships and potentially added further clients to your portfolio

Manage all direct container orders for this client and a number of other priority accounts

Work with procurement on containers orders

Provide weekly progress report on container orders to priority accounts

Provide all shipping documents in a timely manner

 

Business Development & Marketing:

Collaborating with the account sales manager to maximize profits

Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members and stakeholders

Working with other department leads such as Finance, Sales (Ecommerce), operations and dispatch to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective teamworking, and support to colleagues

Represents the company in a professional and credible manner to customers and the public

Builds and develops strong relationships with operations, sales and marketing teams to identify potential through fully understanding their needs and demands

Focuses on ensuring excellent service levels are maintained at all times

Is accessible and responsive to customers at all times

Continually focuses on developing the business through building customer relationships and ensuring that resources are prepared to manage this growth i.e. a robust but realistic succession plan is in place

Work with priority customers to grow the business on container orders

 

Financial Management:

Strong financial management of client accounts

Ensures a strong financial performance with upselling where possible

Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of our business are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, ensure areas for maximising profits are identified and implemented

Work closely with finance to ensure all container payments are made on time
