Our newest, but equally valued member of the team, Jessica has extensive experience with the legal field, having been a Paralegal and Liability Claims Adjuster for high profile law firms in a previous life, after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Law and Psychology, and then achieving her LPC from the University of Sheffield. Jessica is covering whilst Leona is on maternity leave and she is filling those boots admirably.

A graduate of the Institute of Technology in County Sligo, with a degree in Occupational Safety and Health,  Leona sailed across the Irish Sea and joined Alexander Hancock in 2008 as our Secretary/Administrator, very quickly progressing to Office Manager. Leona is to be obeyed by all. Her word is final. Even Anneliese will bow to her superior judgement.


Grainne Fu

After graduating from university with a degree in Law, Grainne worked as a Sales Executive for a high profile car dealership, before joining Alexander Hancock in 2007 as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, quickly becoming a highly valued member of the team. Grainne is the ‘hard drive data storage’ of the office, recalling events and circumstances from the unfathomable depths of her memory that the rest of us mere mortals can only wonder at.

With a Degree in English & History and 24 years  experience working in Recruitment, Liz trained in London and relocated to Manchester. She managed a head office recruitment function prior to opening Alexander Hancock with Natalie and Anneliese. Liz initially worked in Manchester for a health care company in Sales, Customer Services & Training before returning to her first love, recruitment. And she hasn’t looked back since.  Liz is the go-to person, when Anneliese isn’t in!!


Anneliese Alexander

After graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in History, Anneliese worked for Deloitte’s for a couple of years, before moving into recruitment and taking the REC Recruitment exams.  She managed a city centre office, before opening Alexander Hancock with Natalie and Liz. Anneliese does both permanent and temporary recruitment, as well as finance, HR, Health and Safety, office management, building and tenant management and practically everything else. The go-to person for anything and everything anyone wants to know , and if she doesn’t know it (which is rare), she will find out.

Natalie has worked in recruitment since 1988 after graduating from Hull University with a degree in Management and then went on to take the REC Recruitment exams. Natalie has a genuine flair and passion for recruitment, her core skills lie in truly understanding business needs together with identifying that “ ideal” candidate for a client. She is very client focused, a natural problem solver and Do It Now person. Details and Finance she leaves to her FD, Anneliese, as she understands that in life what you are unable to do for yourself you should always pass to someone more qualified and intelligent!
