Job of the Week: Purchasing Administrator

We have a varied and interesting purchasing administration role for one of the nicest clients based in Altrincham, and best of all they are UK manufacturers. They need someone to cover a maternity contract, so initially a temporary position on their payroll but we have never known them not to keep calibre hard working people that we have placed on a similar basis.

The role itself involves negotiating with suppliers on pricing and discounts, resolving any delivery issues, updating the related purchasing administration, supporting sales order processing, liaising with production to ensure manufactured goods are going to be completed to deadline

We need someone with a good level of education, a good commercial background covering order processing with some experience of handling purchasing ideally from engineering or manufacturing environment

Good starting salary plus excellent benefits plus an early finish on a Friday.
