Remembrance Sunday…
Friday, November 7th, 2014
I make no apology for this blog, which may be controversial…
Wherever you are on Sunday at 11:00am, whatever your views on Afghanistan, Iraq , past wars and the inevitable ones in the future, please please take the time to think of the men and boys who have laid down their lives for this country, for YOU. The reason, and the ONLY reason, why we are able to voice our opinions, disagree with Government policy, demonstrate on the streets safely and with impunity is BECAUSE the ultimate sacrifice was made by these Heroes..
We live in the best country in the world because we have the best armed forces in the world and for that we should always be grateful
Happy Birthday To Us!!
Tuesday, November 4th, 2014
Today we are 10…. November 4th 2004, Liz Anneliese and I opened our doors to Alexander Hancock Recruitment Ltd in an attic office with three desks, three phones, no clients and not a single applicant in our candidate bank.
10 years on we have found 2130 people jobs, dealt with some amazing people along the way, learnt people’s stories, shared their lives, been driven demented and had a lot of laughs.. all because of you!.. Whether you are a candidate or a client, thank you, we have loved every single moment of the past 10 years..
And to Leona, Grainne and Bethan it has been our privilege to work alongside you, best people to have in your team EVER!
TURNING PINK FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Thursday, October 2nd, 2014
Here at Alexander Hancock, we are turning pink for the month of October in memory of Natalie and Anneliese’s mum, Frances Alexander.
During this month, please take the time to visit the various breast cancer charity websites to support the men and women who are affected by this disease.
These charities are ensuring that we are, if not beating it quite yet, we are able to understand and treat it better, so that more and more people no longer have to hear the words “Breast Cancer” and think the worst. Thank you
Websites include: Cancer Research UK, MacMillan Cancer Support, Breast Cancer Care and Genesis UK
