  • To provide first class proactive client support within the customer service department
  • To increase the sales and profitability of the company by maximising the potential of existing clients
  • To act as part of the total Sales Team sharing good practice
  • To research formally and informally the requirements of existing customers and feed the information back into the company to stimulate product and service development
  • Develop strong partnerships with the external sales team to ensure any sales opportunities are maximised and communicated throughout
  • Develop and sustain strong and strategic partnerships with clients through regular contact via the telephone
  • Effectively plan own time and maximise the use of company resources
  • To proactively chase opportunities by phone, fax and email
  • The successful candidate will have good telephone manner and communication skills
  • Able to work individually or as part of a team 
  • Previous experience of using and maintaining sales order processing and inventory software would be an advantage but is not essential
