Multi-Lingual Credit Controller (French)

Our client is looking to recruit a Multi Lingual Credit Controller to join their high successful and expanding business.
Your role will be to:
- To provide an effective & accurate credit control function for the department and to act as an interface between the company and the customer.
- Managing customer orders
- To manage the outstanding sales balances by contacting customers to confirm payments & if necessary negotiating re-payment plans
- Authorise orders as appropriate & if necessary suspend credit facilities to hold order
- As appropriate involving sales reps when accounts are long overdue
- Reconcile customer accounts ensuring payments are accurately allocated to the appropriate account & invoice
- Set credit limits in line with customer's turnover & forward orders. Review credit limits with current credit agency
- Review new customer application forms rating them for credit worthiness & establishing credit limit & terms
- Follow collection procedures for overdue accounts,including the use of telephone collection techniques & weekly letters
- Achieve agreed monthly cash in target & reconciliation of daily cash in
You will have experience as follows:
- Experience of credit control
- Ability to prioritise
- Used to managing own ledger
- Have disciplined approach to collection
- Used to making a high volume of calls
- Good negotiation skills
- Numeracy skills
- Advanced Excel skills desirable
- Be able to carry out Credit control by phone and email internationally and in the UK when necessary
- ICM student or member preferred
- Fluent speaker level in French and Dutch is essential
- Business level English is essential
- 2+ years experience in a credit control role is essential
- Ability to develop good interpersonal (telephone) relationships
- Ability to forge great working relationships with overseas export offices

Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Controller with B 2 C experience to provide a full and comprehensive credit control service, ensuring that monies are recovered in the best possible way, whilst maintaining client relations
Chase late payment of bills by both letter and phone
Answer any queries that arise from letters and phone calls
Liaise with other team members as required
Review and updating procedures within credit control to ensure its smooth and efficient running
Carry out all current credit control procedures to ensure that outstanding debtors’ accounts are cleared
Previous experience in credit control is essential
